Your security and privacy are our main priority. Sherwood Models Online use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for all confidential user areas including the shopping cart process and creating an account (should you choose to do so). We are however using a third party host for our domain and software therefore we are unable to accept any responsibility or liability for a security or data breach howsoever caused.
We process all UK card payments using PayPal Checkout integration - we do not process payment cards directly on our website or offline as your transaction is transferred to the secure PayPal PCI compliant Payment Gateway. You do not need a PayPal account to use this service and you do not need to create an account on our website - in fact for security we recommend you purchase as a guest. At CHECKOUT simply click the 'Checkout with PayPal' image if you do not wish to create an account. You have the option to pay using your PayPal account or your Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express or Debit Card.
We therefore have no access to your payment card details. PayPal comply with all PCI regulations therefore Sherwood Models accept no responsibility should their security be compromised.
PLEASE NOTE - CHANGE IN PAYPAL REFUND POLICY DATED 16th MARCH 2020
Occasionally we are unable to supply items for a variety of reason. Prior to 16th March 2020 we have always endeavoured to refund any outstanding amount as soon as we are aware of our inability to supply. As from 16th March 2020 we will attempt to supply any outstanding items on arrival as PayPal will no longer refund our fees. We will not enter into discussions regarding refunds that comply with the terms of PayPal. We apologise for this inconvenience.
If you prefer not to use PayPal or PayPal Checkout we are happy to take your orders via telephone for processing via our PDQ terminal Mon-Sat 10am-4.30pm (excluding Tuesdays) 0115 9266290 or mail order to Sherwood Models, 831 Mansfield Road, Nottingham. NG5 3GF. We can also supply on request a PayPal invoice which allows items not listed on our website to be purchased.
GDPR
We have the facility to delete the following under GDPR. Please advise if you wish to have your order or account deleted as described below.
- Orders that have been placed from one month past the order date.
- Customers who have not placed an order for greater than one month from the date of order.
- Customers who have created an account but have not placed an order.
OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS
Please note payment using this websites secure facility via PayPal Checkout or PayPal is intended for UK based customers using Sterling only. We do however supply most of the items shown on this website overseas with payment via your card or we will supply a PayPal invoice. Export orders require postage calculating according to weight and size. You may also be entitled to a VAT free export. Please contact us with your requirements.
