PECO are probably the world leaders in the manufacture of track for model railways. Their extensive range includes both Setrack and Streamline in a variety of gauges.

Setrack - Preformed track sections both straight and curved designed to fit the maximum amount of track in the minimum area. This is usually supplied with train sets and has an extended spacing between adjacent tracks to ensure passing trains have sufficient clearance particularly on the tighter curves. Some rolling stock will not run on the tighter radius Setrack Curves.

Streamline - Flexible track supplied to form your own curves and straights together with a more extensive range of turnouts, crossings and slips. Generally used to form more sweeping curves using the flexible track with adjacent tracks usually set at the standard way spacing. When forming flexible track curves one rail will become longer than the other and therefore requires cutting.
